The Cruise

Wow what can I say about the way this vacation started. We left Dallas Wed and stayed in Houston over night so we wouldn't have to drive into Galveston the next day and be tired our first day of the cruise. Wow did that backfire. As we were driving into Galveston Thursday we kept seeing a sign that says cruise ship delayed due to fog. We pulled into Galveston went to go park and they said the ship wouldn't be there until 12:30 so we went to the seawall to check out the damage from Hurricane IKE. Wow the devastation down there was overwhelming. We than returned to park where we found out it was going to be 2:30 or 3. We finally got sick of driving around and decided to go ahead and drop off our luggage at the cruise terminal. We received the great news there that it was going to be at least 5 or 6 before the ship would even arrive. We decided to go ahead and check in and get some dinner next door when we returned we went back through security to learn that it would be 10:30 before we could board. After sitting in the terimal off and on for 12 hours we walked onto the boat at 11:30 and reached our room at 12. Good exprience Not yet... After all that, we learn because of the delay we will not be going to Cozmel but instead Progresso Mexico which I guess you could say is the arm pit of Mexico. All in all once we were on the cruise the next few days we did have fun..

It Snowed

Anyone that has ever lived in Texas will totally understand why I'm excited about these pictures. We heard it sleeting outside and then it went quiet so we opened the front door and saw the most beautiful big snow flakes. That is all it took 2 minutes later the kids were decked out and outside having snow ball fights with the little snow they had off of cars, grill and backyard table.

Well another Thanksgiving bites the dust. I can't believe that it is already this time of year. we went to my mom's as usual. We had 4 turkey's and all the sides. The weather was beautiful so the kid's ran around outside which was great cause they weren't in the house.

Taylor's Modeling Debut

Taylor's orthodontist asked her if she would like to be a model in her new ads that will be coming out. What kid would say no right? It was in an old building off 287 that was pretty cool. Looking at this place driving up you would be scared but it was awesome. I Took Taylor to get he hair trimmed and done before the shoot and it was all good but the final product was not. Taylor was horrified about her bangs and in her defense I agree. They were short but not bad..anyway she went to the shoot they fixed the hair and these are the pics I got..There were alot more but I didn't want to be that mom so I put up the one's I got. And just so everyone knows Taylor was the youngest person there. They had one other girl that was not a high school student she was a little older than Taylor ..Yes I'm proud but I hope she knows this was a compliment being chosen out of the thousand kids Dr. Tardy has coming through there.
