First Day of Golf Weekend at the Cliffs

We tried to have a family weekend out at the Cliff's this weekend but the girls social schedule was much more important.. Bailey had her first social at the her school and Taylor had a dance that I have since heard she did not even go too. Oh well they have missed a gorgeous weekend so far..We arrived Friday afternoon and found out they had a tournament going on so we only got to play 6 holes yesterday.
Tate wanted to take a picture of us while we were waiting for dinner..he did a pretty good job
Here's the three of us

Tate getting ready to hit his ball
This is Tate on my favorite hole..the tee box is where tate is standing and the green is the behind him next to the water..gorgeous hole
I think little Tate thinks his dad is his caddy he told him every hole pull the pin dad..
He's so cheesy... I was trying to get a picture of him swiging but he had to stop and pose
Tate took this picture to..Tate has to hit the ball accross all those tree's to get to the fairway on the other side..he did it by the way and par'd this hole for the first time..this is also they hole we own a lot on

This is the view from the green accross from our lot

State Fair 2008

I love going to the state fair but I have to say after missing last year I was very surprised how expensive things were..every ride out there was 5.00 a kid can you believe that?? 15.00 bucks a ride for us..of course kids don't understand why they can't ride every single ride out there or why parents get mad when they don't finish their 5.00 coke..besides the prices of everyhing I think the kids had a great time
This is Bailey, Taylor, Brittnee and Tate hanging out with Big Tex
Tate played a game (shocking I know) that you throw a football through a hole and this is what he won
Big Tate and little Tate
Yes another game he threw two balls into the basketball hoops and won this lovely bear to match his football
the girls riding my favorite ride at the fair Is it just me or do they look older than they are?
Tate with his creepy smile
This ride is just like the superman at six flags
before the ride started
and after..Bailey is all smiles and Taylor and Brittnee look like they want to vomit

Andrew at his finest

You must be very quiet he is deep in thought...this is a very serious tinker toy masterpiece

LAMBEAU WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!

As you all know this past weekend was the coolest thing I have ever been to..We left our house for the airport Sat morning at 4am to catch a 6 am flight heading to Greenbay..I have always wanted to go to a Packer game but knew getting tickets is as easy as winning the lottery..We were blessed for sure when my dad’s associate Joanie told him she had five tickets to the Packer Dallas game and wanted to know if he would like them….can you imagine how hard it would be to stay calm and say sure we would love them…the electricity of Lambeau field is something you can’t even describe..the fans the people working in all the restraunts everywhere you went you could feel how much love these people have for their team…As big of a fan that I am it was cool to be in a place that loved the team as much as I do…so Thank you Joanie for the tickets..thank you dad for allowing us to go and thank you Tate, Amy, Andrew, mom and dad for a weekend of memories I will never forget…

This says it all...This is where our seats were
The best game ever played in Lambeau
Mom and Dad posing like rock stars outside of Curley's Pub inside Lambeau
The end of the tour of Lambeau and our weekend..

Tate and I posing for one more picture before we left Anyone that ever wanted to see Madden up close well here you go I just had to say I touched the field of the frozen tundra

They handed out flags at the door and when everyone started waving them it was awesome it looked like a sea of green and gold
This was when we took the tour and got to get down on the field
As close as we could get without being on the field This is the tunnel the Packers come out entering the field..it was awesome as you walk through it they have an announcer on sreaming... Here are your Greenbay Packers.. it gives you goose bumps

Now how can you not like the Packers ???? WOW!!!!
Here's good old Romo..Tate and Andrew were wearing his jersey and they all kept calling them Romo the Homo
If you look closely on the bleachers you will see Amy and I posing for a picture with our cheese bras on... this guy is sending the picture to his nephew in Iraq
Here's a close up of the only two girls in Lambeau wearing a cheese bra...does this shock anyone??? no probably not..

This picture is the coolest.. I love it...to explain the electricity in the stadium right now you would have to be there in person it was sooo loud....

Tickets to Packer game $200
Cheese Bra $25
Embarrassing your dad at Lambeau $ priceless
Part of the tailgating party going on in the parking lot pre game
Tate always has dreams of meeting with famous people.... well here he is shaking Lombardi's hand
We loved these shirts they had Jessica Simpson sayin Tony who? Go Pack ....I thought that was pretty funny This was as close as we got to seeing Brett at Lambeau this year
