The Cruise

Wow what can I say about the way this vacation started. We left Dallas Wed and stayed in Houston over night so we wouldn't have to drive into Galveston the next day and be tired our first day of the cruise. Wow did that backfire. As we were driving into Galveston Thursday we kept seeing a sign that says cruise ship delayed due to fog. We pulled into Galveston went to go park and they said the ship wouldn't be there until 12:30 so we went to the seawall to check out the damage from Hurricane IKE. Wow the devastation down there was overwhelming. We than returned to park where we found out it was going to be 2:30 or 3. We finally got sick of driving around and decided to go ahead and drop off our luggage at the cruise terminal. We received the great news there that it was going to be at least 5 or 6 before the ship would even arrive. We decided to go ahead and check in and get some dinner next door when we returned we went back through security to learn that it would be 10:30 before we could board. After sitting in the terimal off and on for 12 hours we walked onto the boat at 11:30 and reached our room at 12. Good exprience Not yet... After all that, we learn because of the delay we will not be going to Cozmel but instead Progresso Mexico which I guess you could say is the arm pit of Mexico. All in all once we were on the cruise the next few days we did have fun..
Tate thought the engine smoke off the back of the ship was cool
Hope this is not a look at the future
This was off the very back of the boat
Same picture just different parent
Gorgeous sunset
The double duo
Think they are sick of pictures yet?
This was at the resort we went to in Progresso for our shore excursion
Tate building sand castles
Of course Bailey would let them do this to her
And then pose for it..hmmmm
Before she was buried
Tate was very excited about this shell he found
Taylor not sharing any of the sand buckets or shovels

I didn't know you were going on a cruise!! How fun! My kids are dying to go on one. What a great time of year to get away from the cold! Looks like you had fun. And yes, that picture of Bailey at the bar is a bit scary...

That looks like so much fun!!! Tate and little Tate are seriously twinkies, it's not even right. Taylor totally looks like she is holding a beer in one pic! And good for Bailey eating so much! It's paid for, you might as well get your money's worth! That's my philosophy anyway.
